No radio signal when using socket

Bass, Treble, CarPuters, adding an after market alarm. It's all in here.

No radio signal when using socket

Post by Danger_MouseUK » Sun Aug 24, 2014 8:05 pm

I have a 99 F and my radio works ok normally, its an aftermarket one but I don't think that is too relevant in this case, except when I plug my phone into the lighter socket to charge it, the radio looses all signal.

Any ideas where I should start with this?

Thanks

Replace your phone charger with an expensive branded one.

I have the same problem with the power plug for my Pure Highway DAB unit,it kills FM!

It is a cheapish one that I got from tesco, but I have used it in the focus I had before the MG and my wife's Kia and it works fine in those.
