Having just returned from a brief holiday on a Spanish island, I was heartened by the new fashion wave.
The Panda I had originally ordered at the airport was replaced by a Polo in VW grey. Indeed, looking around, grey is the new fashion statement. Even Skoda have a "business grey" colour, and all those jokes/wind ups over the years about XPG/ primer etc completely passed me by, especially now that grey has come of age
At a distance, a TF in grey frontal appearance looks similar to a grey Aston Martin
I'm happy now, in fact I might even clean it and perhaps polish a few panels

Just drive up to a BMW dealer, you will feel like having lost your colour sight on their yard.

Just for Al, I've had a couple of panels sprayed recently due to stone chips etc, and the paint shop took pity on me and buffed up the rest of the car to match their gleaming new paintmgtfnut wrote: I'm happy now, in fact I might even clean it and perhaps polish a few panels
I've even dug out some old polish stuff and busy reading the instructions
Just as well, as I'm thinking of a quick trip to Speyer and Schlumph museums soon.
