Changing colour... Help needed!!

Re: Changing colour... Help needed!!
OMG!!!! It looks stunning... definitely I NEED a red TF!!!!
Correct me if I am wrong but there are 3 bright red colours
Rio red
Solar red
Scorched red (Used only in the Chinese TF's)
Between the Rio and the Solar red are there any big differences? Which one is brighter?
Your car is a looker Mr. Natural, congratulations.
The seats are the MGF Centre ones right? Do they offer more lateral support than the OEM ones??

Re: Changing colour... Help needed!!
Thanks Sergi, much appreciated.
Solar Red has a slight orange tint whereas Rio Red has a slight blue tint in the paint (not sure whether that makes sense, but it's the only way i think i can describe it). Hence, Rio Red is a slightly 'deeper' red than Solar. I haven't has a close look at Scorched Red, but it does look good in photos that i have.
The seats, as you rightly say, are from the MGF Centre and i really like them. We have several TFs in the family and i reckon these are the most comfortable and best supporting without trying to fit Recaro's.
Red is the best, go for it!

That's good info on the seats!
The Recaros that I have are really nice but I have to test them yet in a long journey and getting in and out is quite uncomfortable, although is what I always wanted for my TF

Re: Changing colour... Help needed!!
That's how mine came from the factory Rob, Rio Red with Grenadine and Sebring interior finishing. It was the two shades of red being quite unusual that drew me to the car. I really like it too. However, my car did come with a black hood, but i couldn't turn down the opportunity to purchase a nearly new xpower burgundy speedster hood for something different again. And i think it all works well togetherRob Bell wrote:I think the two shades would clash Sergi. Best start with another car. The black one is already a beauty, and looks stunning with the grenadine interior.

I think that's the eyes on the subframes - the rear eye is for pulling the car out of the hedge when the back end's given waytalkingcars wrote:Correct me if I am wrong but aren't they tie down points for when on a transporter so as such are not strong enough to tow with.

Sergi
Where are you in Spain, I am down in Torrevieja, I like your burgundy interior it would go well with my old English white F.
I would keep the colour combination you have it looks great.

Re: Changing colour... Help needed!!
No correction needed I generalised the colours, I agree they are quite rare but here to be exact :
Firefrost Red 516 cars MY2002 and MY2005
Rio Red 208 cars MY2002 and MY2005
There's no such thing as MY2004, Your car, for example, is a MY2002 built 05/10/2004
