Re: `73`
Ok 50 views but no radio amatures , if any one is interested the foundation exam is now on line due to social distancing and also training courses with Essex Ham.
sign up for an online course - and spend a few weeks taking it.
https://www.essexham.co.uk/train/foundation-online/
apply to do the online RSGB exam - - it will require you to pay £27 to RSGB
The exam is 19/26 multiple choice question. It's a doddle.
You can even test yourself today - with NO knowledge.. you'll be surprised, at Foundation level, its a lot of common sense

Doing the mock tests, repeatedly is a very good way of getting knowledge onboard quickly .

50 views in 24 hours is good going, and so is over 140 in 10 days.
Personally the nearest I have ever got to being a radio ham is CB radio in the early '80s when I ran both AM and FM units next to each other in my car.

Not something I've been into (other than when watching the Dukes of Hazard and warnings of Boss Hog...) - although I do have a couple of handset walkie-talkies when going on green lane trips in the rescued Freelander!
