Thanks for the info :thumbsu:

The work really is stunning. I'll be dropping them a line and see how much they think the work I'd like done is likely to cost so I can start saving! Just wondering though - are all those vents in the boot and bonnet done in GRP or in steel? What I'd like done would be ideally in the original steel. :)

Are both boot and bonnet mods done using the MR2 bonnet vent they do?

There's a Nova that's usually parked near where I work. Yes, it has been chavved, but someone clearly spent a lot of money on it 5 or 10 years ago. The problem though is that now it is looking rather more down-at-heel, is that there is cracking on the bonnet between the GRP vents and the original steel. Presumably due to differential expansion. Hopefully a lot less of a problem on the F given that neither boot lid or bonnet is exposed engine heat, but that Nova is the reason why I would like to keep the bonnet in one material - be that steel or GRP. Or carbon fibre (if I was feeling rich).

I'll try and call the body shop tomorrow if I get a chance and chat through what I have in mind. I probably can't afford to do it, but it will be interesting to find out how much it might be...

Okay - I guess I'll have to be kept in suspense then! ;)

Looking forward to the grand reveal. When are you taking the car to Essex Roadsters Andy? Would be great to see it in the flesh, as it were :)

The rocker cover and inlet manifold are polished, then chromed. the rest is polished stainless steel.

That really is something special Andy - you have to click and enlarge the pictures to truly appreciate them.

Heck of a lot of detail to soak in too - really looking forward to seeing the finished article! :D

Looking gorgeous Andy :thumbsu:

What is the refection like off the windscreen from the dash ?
Only asking as thinking of having Jats dash done in body colour to match the rest, but a tad worried about the refection

I've asked Daryl to look into taking the edge of the shine a bit, If you where spraying your interior body colour you should be able to go for a satin finish rather than full gloss, that would reduce any glare.
