Dave the Bear wants to travel.....

Dave the Bear was born in 2003 at Harrods of London, and is going to Hollycombe Working Steam Museum on the 21st April, but would like to travel much further afield, and wondered if another member would be kind enough collect him from Hollycombe, and take him on his second adventure, then by passing him onto other members to see various sights around the Uk and perhaps overseas. In the process help raise money for the MGF Register Charity ‘Macmillan Cancer Support’, with each member making a small online donation. http://www.justgiving.com/mgfregister2013

Dave has now opened a Travel Diary for 2013, and I shall be taking Dave on his first adventure this comming Sunday, and if there are no takers on that day, he will be with me on the 28th April 2013 at Arundel Castle Picnic & Gathering

I will be at Arundel Castle on 28th and would be pleased to start Dave (Delboy) Bears journey off by bringing him back to the New Forest. He can travel in company with Billy Bear, who I don't have a picture of at the moment, but you will have met at Brooklands. He's the nutter bear hanging on to the roll bar

If Dave Bear would like to attend the historic racing at Angouleme in September(19th-24th), and we can arrange to collect him en route, then he would be welcome to join Manda and I. We only have a two seater(!), so he may have to sit on Manda's knee!

If he would like to join us, then I'll call the hotel to see what we can sort re accommodation

Dave is already packed! I've said to him we have one more day before his 1st adventure, however he still needs someone to come forward that might be able to take him from Hollcombe Steam Museum and get to Arundel Castle for the 28th April.

Dave had a truly great time, someone has a photo of him driving a 'Steam Engine' please note that the carriage was empty , I wonder why? Tim & Liz now have Dave and will be taking him to Arundel...

Dave had a nice run today in the South East starting at Ockham Woods and heading out to Hollycombe Steam Museum.

So he has begun his adventures with a ride on a traction engine.

He'll be with us for a week beofre heading down to Arundel next Sunday.

Dave came to work with me and TuFty today and brought his mate MG Benji along. They had a lovely day in the sunshine playing with the cars, motorbikes and aeroplanes !

Dave had a ride in our MGBGT today down to Arundel and met up with lots of other MG owners. last night he joined us at the MGCC South East Annual Dinner but embarrassed himself a bit by drinking all the wine so he was a little delicate on the trip down to Sussex today. Mind you after a day spent at the MGF Register Committee Meeting at Kimber House he needed to let his hair down a bit !

He was handed over to Brian Davies at Arundel by playing at being a Rugby Ball....he thought that was great fun but now he has become a bit of a "Dude" when he found the shades and baseball cap in Brian's TF......
