Can collect Dave from the New Forest at the beginning of October, take him off to Abingdon for the October Fair and a visit to the MG Museum? As long as he is house trained of course.
Hi,
All being well I will be bringing DAve back down to New Forest for a few days R&R after his day with MGs-on-Track around the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit on Monday 30th September. I will PM you nearer the time to arrange a day and convenient collection for point for Dave and yourself.
Splendid :)

He's just returned from MGFIM in Germany, I believe he's raised over €150 due to the generosity of our European friends who appear to love him, he was always seen in someone's arms or in their car. Even locals in Steffi's little village took him in for pictures while we were walking around yesterday morning. Dave and Rhona took him to the bridge on the DFDS ferry on the way out, I think he bagged the captains chair.

Well Dave has had a great trip with us to MGFIM in Germay.
The Europeans on the event also embraced the idea of Dave & he has had a great time traveling around in all the different F & TF's! €156 raised so I will check the commercial exchange rate, convert to sterling & donate (plus my bit) via the just giving page :thumbsu:
Picture to follow soon...........

Pete & Lynn from Bristol are interested in taking him to Hawaii in early September, and we would like to take him back to Germany 20-23rd September for Mykel's Neiderrheine tour, so John W do we have a schedule for Dave?

They seem to love him in Europe (and they were very pleased to take the hard-top last year) I hope he can make it back there for the Neiderrhein Tour. I'm sure he'll raise another good sum.

I put my €10 in on the MGFIM tour John.

If we still have him (unless he's in Hawaii) we'll take him on the Tunnels & Bridges Run on the 7th.

By the look of Dave's diary (post1) he could make the Thames Bridge's and Tunnels, but already booked for the period 19th Sept to 30th Sept a joint away break with Mike & Manda with MartinC, Martin has already made a donation very early on but was unable to have Dave..

This means he could be able to become one of the 'Hawaii Five O' team, but not available to go with Dave T for Mykels Neiderrheim Tour... :( ..

May I thank you all for the offers for September, and as 'Daves' Grandad I'm looking forward to see the photos...

Dave still has the rest of August to fill, plus all of October, November and December..can anyone help?

PS>>Just amended this post as I have Daves Diary dates mixed up..sorry Pete and Lin, am I forgiven  yes he would love to go to Hawaii

A few pictures from Dave's visit to MGFIM.

The locals in Blankenberg loved Dave so much, they paid to have him sit in their van :

Waiting for a bus :

Lord only knows what he was doing in there :

He's quite in to the local Riesling, he's sitting by the 17th century apple press :

Now he's in the grapes waiting to be selected :

On the wood pile, can't be cold surely :

And we then need to think about getting him to us for his trip to Angouleme after the Thames Bridges & Tunnels.

Is anyone on the run likely to be at Combe for the MGoT Track Day on the 9th? Combe is only 20 minutes down the road for me, otherwise we need to start thinking about possible alternatives for handover.

Please make yourself known, you are needed for the Thames Tunnels and Bridge...and more important for MIkeH
