10 Years
Hi all,
Just want to tell, that today, 10 years ago, a young man, øh youngish, went
to Copenhagen to pick up an MGF, was the king of the world that day, was 3
years old, 29000 km on the clock, and now after them 10 years, 105000 km on
the clock, and loads of nice trips, but most important, via this little car, i
have met so many nice people all over Europe, so thanks to you all, and let the
next 10 years roll on.
Regards, Kjeld

Nice one Kjeld, I still remember our first meeting at the Wobbly Wheel prior to MGF10.
Don't forget the memory of the moose bouncing off your car on the way back from the Nordkap and re-building the washed away road in Wales after the heavy rain .

Re: 10 Years
Any regrets?
In that 10 years what's the best advice you could offer someone buying an F.
Ie what problems have you had?
Where have you ahead most beneficial gains?

Hi Again,

No regrets, just love the car to bits, still have that strange smile, every time
i turn the key, but Adrian, it was not a Moose i hit, but a Reindeer, but that
was scarry to, with the antlers and eyes over my head, look at Stephens Picture, they are big
Just show how strong the car is, as i hit it with 80 kh/h, and the frame did not move an mm.
Stephen, good to see you on the forum at last, hope you, the lady and baby Meek are fine, and Keith,
thanks for your help over the years, you have been souch a mate, and the hunter might go to the

you and Caro by then. Can`t wait.
So thanks again to all, 10 years of F`ing has been fun. Think thats where the F came from. F, for FUN
Look forward to meet some of you in Germany this summer, and hope to meet some

Re: 10 Years
10 years since buying a 3 year old car makes it a teenager now. Several owners of MGBs have had their cars for 30+ years and I'm sure Fs and TFs will be the same. This says more about MGs than words can.
