My welcome pack thudded onto the porch floor this morning, poor postman had a hernia from the sheer weight of it. Lots of good things to read through and spare forms and the like. Yay!

Yes she does, but only if I am in full regalia and holding a grease gun in my left hand.

As a Hertfordshire refugee in the Essex Roadsters, I had better come along and pledge my allegiance to the reformed Herts Wheels (or a new name). Might still have one of the old badges kicking around. See you Monday then.

I've put a post on the Essex pages to see if we can rustle up a few.

I was wondering if people wanted to order some grub when there. I guess folk might be a bit peckish at that time of evening, especially those travelling from further afield.
I have not sampled the food at the pub but there are chippies locally if folk fancy a 'fish and chip' run. Mind you, Cath does a wicked bacon sarnie
Am open to suggestions, so please let me know
Cheers
Ken
I just looked on the menu and the stuff seems rather reasonable. They do sharing platters that might be the way forward perhaps. Beats a packet of crisps to be honest (not that there is anything wrong with a packet of crisps).

I might be a bit late tonight: I have to collect the children from the out-laws this evening... what time is kick off? I might get there at around 9...

No worries, a late Rob is better than no Rob. We should be looking at around 8pm anyway.

We're meeting up around 7.30 ken so we'll see you around 8ish. All cars back safe and sound from Antwerp (but very dirty, covered in dust and bugs
).
Dave the bear enjoyed the weekend and he'll be there for Gary and Cath to take on holiday.

Good luck on your first meeting tonight Ken
A little too far for some of us on a work night but a couple of the committee should be there to give you some support.

I was going to come to your first meet, but unfortunately the M25 is closed in both directions until about 8.00pm so not going to be able to make it. I hope everyone that makes it has a good time and look forward to seeing everyone at the next meet.

Hi guys,
Just got back to find my daughter with a swollen foot. Will be taking her to an out of hours GP, so no idea whether I can make it tonight or not... Argh

Great to see everyone last night!
Well done Ken for getting the herts area re-started.
Difficult journey there & back! M25 was still closed when we left to come home, so thought it would be quicker to drop down to nth circular & back onto M25 via M11 big mistake! Brimsdown flyover closed, all 4 lanes into 1 & through traffic lights?!
35/40 minute journey took 1 1/2 hours
