MGF Register Magazine archive

Post by Rob Bell » Fri May 02, 2014 2:06 pm

Hi chaps,

I've been chatting to Simon Goldworthy at MG Enthusiast, and he has very kindly agreed to support the MGF Register archive with the supply of magazine articles in their original electronic PDF format - so long as they are about a year or more old.

Can you guys suggest some MGF/TF-centric articles that you'd like to appear in our archive, and I'll get Simon to pull them out for us :thumbsu:

That's great Rob. For interest I have virtually a complete set of MGF/TF articles from Safety Fast, MG Enthusiast and Enjoying MG - including the MGF Register write ups. I am currently cataloguing these by type of article, author and month published. Will be happy to share my spreadsheet with the Register when complete.

That's great, thanks! I am sure that Nigel would love to add this information to his database!

How are you keeping? :)

Rob if Nigel wants hard copies I have most if not all MG Enthusiasts and Safety Fasts going back 10 years. I'm happy to donate them.

That's really kind Adrian! Have a chat with Nigel: I don't want to fill his spare room for him!!!

Also I'd like some suggestions for electronic reproduction from MGE - get the request in before Simon changes his mind!

Probably won't include the Martyn Wise era MG Enthusiast magazine sadly. But if Simon still has the electronic file on his PC, he can do it Adrian. What was the edition/ page numbers for that article? :)

It was Simon Rob, but I was slightly out, it was the June 2008 issue.
