mgcc.co.uk or mgfregister.co.uk car stickers
Is there any club stickers available to put in the cars window to show that the car and owner are members?

Hi, if you're an MGCC member and you register your details here http://www.mgfregister.org/register/ I'll send you out a membership pack which includes a windscreen sticker and a url sticker.

Re: mgcc.co.uk or mgfregister.co.uk car stickers
Back in 2005 I had made loads of these in white (as Neil says) I decided to put mine there as it looked subtle and appropriate, everybody I gave one too was invited to place their one there as uniformity, it seems to have caught on. I also had made at the same time the MGF10 1995-2005 stickers, I still see one on Dieter's car every year .
A number were made in red for the white cars.
In Essex we have just made our new windscreen stickers, I'm supplying one to everybody at our pub meets when I get back from Norway.

Daz - whats your experience of trophy cars?
As for the url stickers id like to replace that trophy cars sticker with a mgfregister one.
Are they only available at meets or via full membership to the mgcc then?
How much is mgcc membership? I still havent got round to looking it up

Re: mgcc.co.uk or mgfregister.co.uk car stickers
A while back I had an accident in my f & needed a front bumper, wing & bonnet, one night while looking for the parts I came across a trophy front bumper for sale in the right colour, but it was to expensive for me, I mentioned it to the wife who said just get it but I decided against it, anyhow without me knowing she arranged to buy & collect it, she doesn't drive so booked a day off work & a lift for the 150 mile round trip to collect it, halfway there she got a message to say it had been sold. Now I understand they could do what they liked with any of there stock, it just seemed a bit rough to me. This is just my experience & I'll openly admit it has left me with a sour taste, they may be a fantastic company, but now I'm looking for a trophy I won't even look at any they have for sale.CR41G wrote:Daz - whats your experience of trophy cars?
After being a member of quite a few forums in the past I find it very refreshing & unusual that paid membership isn't pushed here the way it is elsewhere, one forum I was a member of (very briefly) even treated non members as a lower class, & as I mentioned membership has more than paid for itself.Keith Williams wrote:

My membership is up in a few weeks and as soon as I'm back home I'll be renewing it.

Re: mgcc.co.uk or mgfregister.co.uk car stickers
My URL sticker went on the windstop. Hadn't realised there was a precedent for placing them below a rear light lenses.
What about producing a register badge to go into the soon to be redundant tax disc holder (my tax disc holder is the original supplying dealer so not removing it). S'pose really all I need to do is print a copy of the register badge.

You can buy a windscreen sticker from the shop http://www.mgfregister.org/shop/accesso ... icker.html and place it where the redundant tax disc holder will be in a few months time or anywhere else you fancy

Oh dear. It sounds as though I am some sort of rebel. My sticker is under my near side rear light!
