Sorry I am still in shock here ................................. pun fully intended . I honestly had no idea they cost so much. I see that I still have lots to learn about performance parts and their pricing .

Re: Gaz dampers
Looked at oem but they vary from 30 to 50 each so was looking at these which look far superior in comparison.
Open to suggestions on other options though.

Re: Gaz dampers
Dmmit I was lucky as back in february ECP had a special one and bought a set of four Anschler shocks for very little about £55 the set.
Doing a quick search and trawl through the ebay vendors brought up a set of KYB shock absorbers fronts from one vendor and rears from another coming in at £139.24 delivered.

Re: Gaz dampers
For GAZ adjustables, that doesn't look like an unreasonable price IMO.
Look at the price of Bilsteins, or for a real fright, Ohlins... !

Thanks guys, I think having the added ability to tune the suspension is probably worth the extra money.

Re: Gaz dampers
Just be careful with the settings - don't be tempted to run them too hard! The upper damper mounts are not designed to take the loads transmitted by very stiff dampers.

Thanks Rob, I do remember reading that somewhere.
To be honest with the state of the roads around here I don't think I would want to even if I could!
