Tax Disc Art

Post by 924Rothmans » Fri Mar 06, 2015 6:02 pm

Now that there is no Tax disc replacments i wonder if this is allowed.

Made a 1997 Tax disc up with all details written in, main reason is to celebrate the birth year of the car and looks pretty cool in place, For classic cars it would go down great ;)

Did get some strange looks today asking for a tamper proof tax disc holder at the post office today :?

Clever - as there is no requirment for a disc I can't see that being a problem.

There are plenty of online companies now offering the service of suppying the original tax disc that would have been on the car when first bought. I think many people will be putting one in their cars. The screen looks blank in my opinion with out one. An 'original' duplicate will be a reminder of when you need to renew too :thumbsu:

You can rest assured that at least here in Germany the rozzers won’t have a clue what a tax disc is for, much less so what the word “expires” means.

Something that could be made using DTP.

We have replaced ours with an "In case of Emergency" disc with Driver and passenger details on them.

I still have all but one of the original tax discs for 'N7' so will probably simply colour photocopy the original and put it there, as my last ever tax disc has now sadly expired... :I
