So after fitting the Rover100 joints there is defiantly less camber, I still might make them adjustable though.

What is the camber angle now? Probably only about 1.5 degrees negative now?

Yeah looks good now, the other side I wasn't quite as neat drilling though so will need setting up.

I still have those ZR bits for you somewhere.

Been a busy week, I should get some time this weekend though :)

Had it in for an alignment today, they had to narrow the ramps lol.

Now that the tracking is not toe'd in a load it drives quite well, just like a big mini.
I could do with drilling the left ball joint holes out slightly to get the camber equal both sides but it's within 1 degree. 2nd gear is a hoot :) I did a good 20 mile on different roads yesterday and nothing fell off!

Improving the brakes is next, the effort it there but they could be better.

Posh wheels on at last!

I agree, the best one to follow over the winter, well done.

Cheers all :)

Feels like the end of something, seeing as it's taken so long! Serviced the wifes daily today, that doesn't normally happen lol.

Each time I drive it I enjoy it a little more, breaks starting to bed in and learning what to expect. Rear bushes I missed now greased so it sounds better. Exhaust still too loud, going to add some baffles at some point.

Add a catalyst Ed? Small and they do it the volume of the exhaust. Plus, you’ll be saving the planet... ;)

Maybe... Will try some baffels in the backbox first, even if it just takes the edge off it.

Youv'e done a superb job Ed, I'm very impressed with the thought and ingenuity which you've shown throughout the process.
On "Drive-it Day" I met a chap with an Allegro, in a very similar colour. He has been following you on line, and said how much he admired the work you had put in and the result you'd achieved.

Thanks :) I'm in all the Allegro groups so probably know him. I was tempted to go to the Drive it day but it was a little far.

If the Allegro looked, sounded and went as well as this one in period, the history of BL would have been quite different! :)
