PS Still really like the Blue Cades ;) Shame they're not available with an MGF PCD and centre bore...

Haha could always drill your hubs as I have done?
I might sell them and buy a couple of spare orange ones.

A metro style droop stop wouldnt work as the back of the knuckle seat is miles away from anything, the only mounting surface near it being the floor which would bend or maybe a bracket off the rear beam but relocating the droop strap brackets was much easier and easily reverseable.

Yeah the handbrake guide is a bit of an after thought but its actually a teflon impregnated bush secured with the circlip, its super low friction and as the cable rubs it releases more teflon. A half tube is a nice idea, the telfon bush does the same job.

Hi. I am at the stage of thinking about fitting an MGF engine, gearbox, diff to a Morris 1100. Is the engine bay about the right size or will I need to modify to get it to fit?

You will have to loose the inner wings.

You can get modified mini subframes to take the k series, and a mini subframe will fit a 1100.

Great project, but yes, I agree with James - the inner wings will likely need to be removed to get the transaxle to fit. Hopefully height will not be a problem.

I have a hunch that this conversion may have been attempted before, but I can't remember where on the web I saw it...
