MGF20 lectures
Is there a list of the topics to be covered in the lectures at MGF20, I understand Mike Stafford is talking about the MJS tubbies but what about the others.

Well yes I found the room, well I think it was THE one, but was too busy outside meeting people and looking at cars to get to the lectures. Driving down in the morning then home that afternoon was not ideal but that's the way it had to be.

Re: MGF20 lectures
Yeah found the room quite easily, no wonder been there before unfortunately I was only able to hear , and see, Shed's story in the whole and missed out on most other lectures as the day was too busy for me. A very well spent day! Would be nice if there were some resumes of the lectures. As I'm convinced there are more like me.

Re: MGF20 lectures
Loved the lectures..Ian Pogson and Steve Harper were totally brilliant..I found Roger's a bit train spotterish..it wasn't about his build of his TF ..it was Longbridge's build of his TF..Lots of pictures of the assembly line..couldn't get enthusiastic about that..although others could and did..
Missed the others and regret it...
More please...

Re: MGF20 lectures
I have the Power Point presentations for each of the lectures. Ian has given permission to use his slides - and ofcourse, more than happy to share mine. I would need to seek permission from the others. I suspect that Roger's production line talk may not be reproducible as this is going to be subject to publication in MG Enthusiast - but I can ask.

PS I have been thinking about arranging a techie "MG Geek Fest" with talks on how to do stuff on our cars, how to modify and generally chat about ideas and have Q&A sessions. Good idea or no chaps?

Re: MGF20 lectures
Similar to the T Register's really successful yearly Rebuild Day then. Here there are several talks and demonstrations given and it's really really goodRob Bell wrote:PS I have been thinking about arranging a techie "MG Geek Fest" with talks on how to do stuff on our cars, how to modify and generally chat about ideas and have Q&A sessions. Re: MGF20 lectures
LOL! Okay, I am thinking of doing something at Kimber house one Saturday or Sunday. Perhaps themed to one subject? James, I think the MGF20 lectures in the morning were for a very narrow audience, so not surprised that Mrs TC might have felt the urge to see something else, but with MG Geek Fest, I think the warning is in the title!

Re: MGF20 lectures
i saw 3 of the lectures, including Robs. I enjoyed all of them and appreciate the sheer effort their preparation must take. the only reason I didnt go to all of them was there was a lot to do and see outside so you had to choose.
Thanks to Rob for his, and for bringing Shed, which is now a really great track car, hard earned.

Re: MGF20 lectures
Much appreciated Stan!
Any thoughts on how to kick the series off? (See, I am thinking of many, each on different themes... I must be crazy! )
