Re: interior colour Light Tan and wood
At MG90 there was a beautiful bronze colour MGTF with tan interior entered into the pride of ownership- the owner completed the car only the night before and some of the interior parts were painted in tan with a gloss roller...the finish looked spot on to me.
I think it's a balancing act getting tan, wood, black and silver to look right- I can't imagine the boffins at MG Rover spent millions on interior ergonomics, but from personal experience you can go too far with one colour.
That said, why not have your car exactly how you want it- I wish you well in getting it all to match to your satisfaction!

'02 TF 160 - an Original MG Rover Group Press Car...and still lookin' sharp!
Bilstein Shocks, Z&F Remap, B&G Coolant Alarm, Glass Rear Screen, Braided Hoses, Bling-free at the moment...but that'll probably change

As a further idea, have a word with "Sniperpenguin" on here- he's able to supply the correct tan seat belts- I've seen them on Dave's car from the Herts region and they look really smart.
If you want to go even further, Allhoods of Romford will make you a new soft top and line the inside of it with tan fabric!

Re: interior colour Light Tan and wood
By the way, I've just checked and there were 182 cars finished in SUR.stuart wrote:The interior colour code for the light tan of a TF is "SUR"- only 94 cars made with that trim code- definitely lighter than the F tan.
I've been after a SUR tan binnacle cover- rarer than hens teeth.
The next FasTForward covers all things trim.
Bilstein shocks, Piper 4-2-1 manifold, Daytona, Vader cold-air induction, custom Z and F Stage 2 re-map, Electric boot release, braided hoses, Blue Magnecor leads, Technozen relays, Stage 1 head, BMW Angel Eyes headlights, "MG" puddle lights.

More than happy to be corrected on such matters by your good self Adrian
Happy about it tbh- my chances of finding a decent SUR binnacle cowl have just doubled!

Re: interior colour Light Tan and wood
Yesterday I found this auction on ebay.de.
What reminds me of this topic is one of the interior pictures.
The car is an Mk2 MGF with walnut interior and beige trim in the foot room area. But the colour seems to be a little bit brighter than the walnut tunnel in this car. So may be this parts would fit to my light tan interior.

Hi Adrianadrianclifford wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2016 5:42 pmHere's a picture I've used before that shows the finished interior. The gear lever surround, from Mike Satur is one of only two made as far as I know (Andy Phillips has the other). The rest is as listed earlier ;
I really love your interior!
Are there more photos posted anywhere?
Also, if there a write up of what you’ve done and how you did it?
Much appreciated
Stuart
