Engine being attended to now... Head has been ported, polished and gas flowed, but the bottom end needs a little attention... :o

Oh, and the new brake discs have arrived from BG Developments :thumbsu:

Love the rotors! I have BGD rotors on Project Shed. Very nice and pretty light! :D

Hi Sergi, had them specially made by BG Developments, Bromsgrove, UK. I have the same on my TF :D

They even put my name on this set!

Have you had these made to fit the MG AP racing calipers? Rather tempted to get them to make some of the same diameter for the rear, but will need to sort out a rear caliper solution for that!

Do you know if we can get some sets made? I'd buy a couple sets for sure!

Yes, they will make sets up, not cheap, but some of the best.

I have their 280mm rotors all round on the Shed - been really impressed with them so far :) :thumbsu:

My other MGF has 304 front, and VHS 266 rear. I'm wondering about either 304/280 or 304/304 front/rear...

I started off with 280 all round, but uprated the fronts after a while.

304 all round sounds Great!

The gas flowed head already for fitting to the block once the new liners and pistons are fitted.

On final prep of the body, a double check was made and the dreaded tin worm was found inside the o/s lower rear quarter panel. Andy has cut this out and made up new metal which is about to be welded in place. The n/s will also be done as a precaution. Hopefully off for spraying soon... Goodness knows why my pictures are now loading upside down

I know Mike, it's frustrating! Not straight forward with the head as it was a friend of a guy who Andy knows, so sorry I can't be more helpful. I tried to get Dave Andrews to help me out as he did the head on my TF, but he has a two year waiting time! But, it looks to be a great job, so very pleased.

Sadly I think that Dave is under orders from the management committee (aka Babs) to wind down!

Other head porters are available - Sabre heads (Roger is ex-Janspeed) and Peter Burgess I believe also undertake K-series work if the legend that is Dave Andrews can not take on the work!

Hopefully I'll be dropping off a head to Dave soon, but I've been chatting to him about this for a couple of years!

I think I may book my slot with Dave again anyways Rob. He did such an amazing job with my TF. I will probably have saved enough by the time it is my turn again ;)

Would that be Pete Burgess - AKMotorsport?
