In what years was the 52mm tb fitted to the MG ZR ZS ZT?

Re: 52mm throttle body
Got one on eBay for £28 which seemed reasonable.
I've found a fitting 'how it' but if anyone has any tips that might assist me it would be appreciated?

No tips needed. Just bolt it on and enjoy the fun!

Re: 52mm throttle body
Fitted my 52mm TB and a new Pipercross air filter.
It was a bit of a pain as the bolts are tricky to reach and I got the new one on only to realise I'd forgotten to swap the TB position sensor so had to take it off again!
Once sorted took it for a spin and the throttle response feels better especially at lower revs...a nice improvement for £28 would recommend to anyone who hasn't done it...

Think you're also supposed to re-set the throttle position for the ECU by pressing the pedal four times in succession with ignition on ?

Re: 52mm throttle body
Interesting, what does that do?
Didn't mention it in the 'how to' that I followed...

Switch to ign 2 but don't start it.Paul Storey wrote:Think you're also supposed to re-set the throttle position for the ECU by pressing the pedal four times in succession with ignition on ?
Firmly and fully depress the gas peddle 5 times in 30 seconds.
Wait for the stepper motor to stop adjusting.
Start engine.
The process allows the ECU to learn the position of the throttle body butterfly.
