12v to 5v power output

I want to install the following Bluetooth receiver in my glove box and connect it to my original MG head unit...
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-Stre ... al_qh_dp_i
The BT receiver uses a 5v 300ma DC power supply, however as the car battery is 12v would this be an issue?
Can I just connect the unit straight to the 12v power supply or should I use a 12V to 5V Converter Module like this...
https://www.amazon.co.uk/RioRand-Displa ... +Converter
Or I try to just use one of these USB to DC cables, but not sure exactly what size the DC jack is...
https://www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-Type- ... power&th=1
What do you think?
