Hood Material Needed
Has anyone got an old Mohair hood that could provide me with a strip of material to repair my own hood, it needs to be about 12" x 2". Regretfully my hood was slashed last week and I haven't anything to patch it with. I have the wetsuit adhesive, which seems to be what is recommended, but our last car breakers just crushes cars now and doesn't keep spares. I haven't planned to go to the Mainland until after the Summer, so I'm unable to find a breakers there in the short term.

I'm on the Isle of Wight. Lots of Fs & TFs over here, there's also a good club, which seems to be favoured more by the older drivers. Can't complain really, as I'm one of those myself.talkingcars wrote:Where are you on the south coast.
