Hood Material Needed

Post by Bazzajay » Thu Jun 08, 2017 4:53 pm

Has anyone got an old Mohair hood that could provide me with a strip of material to repair my own hood, it needs to be about 12" x 2". Regretfully my hood was slashed last week and I haven't anything to patch it with. I have the wetsuit adhesive, which seems to be what is recommended, but our last car breakers just crushes cars now and doesn't keep spares. I haven't planned to go to the Mainland until after the Summer, so I'm unable to find a breakers there in the short term.

Where are you on the south coast, I have a couple of ideas.
Home to black Alfa 159 3.2 V6 Q4, blue MGZR160, green MGF VVC and grey MGF 1.8i, and red MG Maestro T16.

I'm on the Isle of Wight. Lots of Fs & TFs over here, there's also a good club, which seems to be favoured more by the older drivers. Can't complain really, as I'm one of those myself.

That's a pity, Thanks anyway. I'm sure I'll find a solution.
