Pscan live data help
I got myself a was half price Pscan and used it yesterday for the first time.
No current error codes which was good.
I have taken a screenshot of the live data, can anyone tell me if any of the readings need attention?

Re: Pscan live data help
All appears well.
What the pscan doesn't come with is a set of "normal" data values. Broadly this has no impact upon the use of the tool - after all, most of the time you are more interested in stored fault codes than the raw data, but the raw data can be really useful in tracking down certain faults which might not be triggering an error code. Recent examples of where I've used this feature is on tracking down a misfire (correctly identified the troublesome coil pack) and an ABS fault on my Freelander (actually turns out to be two concurrent faults with two separate sensors: who'd have thought?)
I'd love to dedicate some time to work out normal values - and this may be a project that will need some assistance from the pscan community!

Re: Pscan live data help
Thanks Rob, I thought you might be the man to ask on this!
Yes some 'normal value' data would be very useful, it could even be provided to pscan.eu for integration in to their next software update.
What I thought would be also be interesting is live data recording/charting so that you can see how things change when the car is in use, not sure how useful it would be, but might be interesting to have, shouldn't be that difficult for the software to be programmed to do this...

Re: Pscan live data help
I've asked Philip about this - and I know I am not the only one! He knows that this will be extremely useful, and it is on his "to do list"!

Re: Pscan live data help
I just dug out my old mini Asus Eee PC and brought a car power inverter so I can now leave the pscan and laptop in my F in case I need to use it on the road

If the historic codes stay away, there's nowt much to worry about
