Service grease/oil
What grease/oil is recommended for use on service points and is there a list of the areas that require greasing and when?

Re: Service grease/oil
Any good quality automotive grease should do. The F has a grease nipple at the top of each suspension corner, mine were buried in dust and hard to find.
I had to remove and clean each nipple out with a piece of wire.
I believe the TF only has 2 grease nipples but I can't remember off hand if at the front or rear.
As for when, give them a squirt of grease every time you change the engine oil.

Sorry I don't mean engine/gear box. I mean other general moving parts/hinges etc...

Re: Service grease/oil
I use old 20/50 Classic Oil that I have left. I always use this on hinges, door stays etc. It's very effective and any surplus can be easily wiped off, I usually lubricate at the end of Autumn and the beginning of Spring. DON'T under any circumstances use Spray Grease, it doesn't penetrate where it's needed and it's an absolute b-gg-r to get the overspray off. For the grease nipples I use a lithium based bearing grease. (Castrol LM)
