Could anyone shed some light on a plaque found under the bonnet of a Wedgewood F?
The name David Farrar does ring a bell, perhaps some of the motorsport guys know?

Could it read "Detailing Technician"?

That did cross my mind when seeing it and trying to work out the missing letters, but so far a search for a detailer with that name has come up with no results, but still more likely.
I do vaguely remember someone with the same surname who used to be involved in motorsport with the MGCC many years ago ..... bit of a long shot I know but a friend of mine, who's car it is, is trying to put together its history.
