Boot rack for a Trophy
Ok, so now I nearly have a Trophy, I will need to find a boot rack that will fit as the car will (hopefully) taking us to France in July.
Any ideas please?
Thanks.

Re: Boot rack for a Trophy
We bought the official MG one but it only lasted one trip then I sold it on I found it awkward to use plus you can't open the boot with it on & can't see anything through rear window either, we bought the fitted luggage & learnt to pack lightly if it goes in the bags it goes with us if not it stops at home

Thanks Nigel. Yes, I have the official MG one for our TF, but i am presuming it won't fit on the Trophy due to the rear spoiler?

Re: Boot rack for a Trophy
Hi. There is a second rack which is smaller which might fit. I have one of my car and could do a pic if it helps. There is also a case that clips to it.
Finding one is not going to be simple and attaching is even harder because you need to drill the boot!
Be aware that the rack and case can be found on the BMW Z3. Think Who used to own MGRover!
It's just a thought

The luggage rack that fits on a boot with the spoiler is made by La Prealpina of Italy. I got one when I had a Trophy but never used it in anger and probably never will.

Have you looked at the boot bag which site on a non slip mat and straps on around the boot, I believe Moss has them on stock. Otherwise as Neil says go for the fitted luggage, we lived out of this for two weeks.
