RML are switching to a Mazda power unit for 2009 which finally means the end for MG in the Le Mans series.

As development goes on, it is to be expected. I think no one of us is pleased with loosing the MG brand on the Le Mans Track but the reason is clear. It is good to hear they are sorry to to loose a part of UK heritage.

so the last modern MG drive the full Le Mans circuit was probably me in the 260 at Classic Le Mans back in July then - but that's got a rebadged Ford lump!
