New project
Well, time to start another of my mgf's. A nice Taihti Blue one. Just the standard 1.8, nothing fancy but i like to save them rather than break or scrap them. Body isn't bad, interior is nice, underneath is going to need some work. Lot's of surface rust and a good sized hole on the floor behind the drivers side rear sill. All fixable with a bit of time and welding. Going to keep it pretty much stock apart from low coolant sensor, stainless coolant pipes and a couple of other bits. Here's a few pictures.
Time to crack out the grinding discs and welder

Crikey - the rear end underside looks like it was recovered from the sea bed! :-O
Great project though - the rest of the car looks great

Re: New project
ok, i may have quite a bit of welding to do. I think i need to order a sill repair panel...at least..
Not looking pretty. The inner sill is ok, just some surface rust so i will treat that and then waxoyl it all when done. Hopefully it will be worth it.
The body itself and all other parts are ok so i think it should be worth carrying on with the project. Sometimes you wonder though..Bloody MG's
