MG40 July 16th and 17th

Your Register will be at Toddington Steam Railway on both Saturday July 16th & Sunday July 17th, MG40 is a celebration event for all MG models produced since 1982.
On the Sunday we will have a Pride of Ownership for F and TF models, there will be a limit of 20 cars for the Pride of ownership, to enter your car for this go to the F register website, mgfregister.org.

The entry fee is by way of donation which will be shared between the register charities.

I am booked-in on Sunday. Travelling to see and stay with my sister (at Upton-on-Severn) on Saturday, either from Honiton area, or more probably from Barnstaple area. Anyone else for a back-roads run from Barnstaple via Exmoor, Bishop's Lydeard & Bridgwater Sat morning?

Thanks to everyone who bought tickets for MG40, we hope that you enjoyed the show, your purchase of tickets will be divided between the register charities, so thanks for helping the register charities

Yes, it was a great day out, and I learned a lot (mainly about non-F or TF products of the Longbridge factory) from other attendees. The best parts of the whole trip were the back-roads runs to & from Bridgwater from Barnstaple via Exmoor, Bishop's Lydeard & Bridgwater Sat morning + Sunday evening. That's not to say Toddington wasn't an excellent event, and there was one Coal-powered "Special" which was interesting, though I am not sure about the reference to "Santa" at this time of year:

Thanks to all those who generously donated for entry tickets to MG 40, your donations totalled £3666.50 and this will be shared between the post 1982 MG registers with the F register share of £523.73 being donated to the Camphill Wellbeing Trust which is the register charity of the year.

The joint registers are looking to hold another show in 2023 and details of date and location will be announced in the near future
