Hi all

Just got an insurance quote for my 2001 F from Peter Best at £650.

My last 2000 F with them was only about £200 so a bit disappointing, apparently 2001 doesn’t qualify as ‘classic’.

Any other recommended insurers I can get a quote from?

If you are a MGCC member, Cherished Insurance do a special scheme for members.

Try Peter James insurance I'm sure they treat cars over 20 years old as a classic? Got to be worth a try..might depend on condition,your mileage etc. But you can only ask!! Good luck..

Got a quote from Cherished Vehicle Insurance for £280 and they were very nice too!

That's good to hear. Nice people when you chat to them at shows. They have a few MGs among them.

I'm with a French on-line insurer called "Eurofil" - for 3rd party fire & theft with windscreen cover I pay 193€ (£165)
