Outstanding !

Still waiting for the 'kissy' smiley - and a 'cup of tea and a biscuit' one would be good too.
Alternatively, there's always the 'I'll get me coat' one.

I drove past this yesterday and waved and flashed (my lights, lol) but got totally ignored. Seriously, how rude! It's not like there's gonna be a chance to see two Sunspots on the same stretch very often.

I get waved at all the time, and retaliate but i've yet to actually find out who the people are, lol.

Ezra,

Whereabouts are you?

I've also got a BRG F that gets a good spanking round Europe's sunny regions on a daily basis.

I spotted a fellow TF owner on the edge of the Peak District over the weekend, both of us with the hoods down. We seemed to exchange glances so I started to raise my hand to acknowledge him just as he looked away so my wave became an embarrassed head scratch instead, made the missus laugh!

I saw SO MANY MGs of all ages, types and colours on my way north on Saturday - I waved to everyone I passed and it felt great
to have something in common with some fellow motorists, instead of reverting to my default state of
assuming everyone else on the road is a lunatic and should be kept well clear of.
(Of course I understand that to assume that all MG drivers are NOT lunatics to be avoided would be a rather precarious
position to take - but one does like to give the benefit of the doubt on occasions like these.)

Don't think I've been so contented with my lot in a very long time !

Coming back was the same - and - joy of joys - I was flashed by a fellow Tangerine Dream driver as I passed
through Sutton Scotney onto the Stockbridge road. I gave them a happy wave, but could not see the driver as
their lid was on.
Why ? It wasn't raining.......ok - the skies were overcast and rain was forecast but I'd chanced it from Warwick on
down the M40 and it was very exhilarating.

I suppose being Northern helps - we're used to lower temperatures.

*edited to add - oh yes - I hit the ton a couple of times too - but I never said that because I was never here. Innit.

Been back with the 'F' for just over a month now, it is amazing how times have changed, with our 1st 'F' - '96 to '98, everyone waved, flashed - it would be very unusual to be ignored.

Now I have found its quite the reverse yet to be 'acknowledged', have a few 'F' & 'TF' owners nearby but they just drive on by.

Spotted a BRG MG F on Sunday heading down the M54. He followed me for a bit but I had to stop as my mates 911 had a warning light, caught up with him again on the M6 for a bit until he peeled off at J6 (NEC)

was it you?? :-p

Saw my first LE500 driving "in the wild" on Friday, trolling along the A40 out of London - we parted company at the M25 Junction. And guess what? It was one of the few Crystal Whites. So two of the 25 together on the road for a few minutes. (LK58NBG). I have had some ragging about HGF on my reg but it has to be better than "NBG", surely? We exchanged a wave.

Going to Chelmsford on Saturday - via A35, M27, M3 and the upper half of (god help me) the M25 - then A12.
Coming back on Sunday via the lower half of M25.

I really really DO NOT LIKE the M25 - but since there's a BBQ at the end of it, hell - might as well eh?

Look out for the Tangerine Dream - I'll be waving at every MG I see. Brrrummm BRRRUMMMMM !
