Briliant Polishes - any good?

Post by Jonathan Tully » Sat May 22, 2010 11:01 am

Anyone ever used this range of products: http://www.briliant.biz/moreinformation ... oductId=35 ?

Oddly enough they were brought to my attention by my Canadian cousin who is looking to try some new products on her newly acquired MGB that she is restoring. She asked me for an opinion, as they are a British company, but I must confess I have never heard of them before.

I would be grateful for any feedback if you have used them.

Thanks :thumbsu:

Have a look on here - if it's any good these people will know http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/index.php

From the looks it seems a pretty standard compound/polish and a LSP type wax, I imagine it will contain lots of fillers like AG Super Resin Polish as it can be VERY difficult to 'remove' swirl marks by hand (the fillers mask them) and depending on type of paint it's not exactly easy with a machine!....

As the old saying goes though, 'You can't polish a turd' and if the paintworks knackered then the best polish in the world won't make any difference.
