Re: The 100K Club
Mine has only completed 26,800 miles, however there is a green Mk1 for sale in the next village with 151,000 on the clock , does that make it the hghest mileage!

Re: The 100K Club
That's pretty high and must make it one of the top Fs. I've heard of other cars reaching the 150k before so there are a few high milers around.
I can now claim fame to be a member of the illustrious 100k club when mine digitally clicked over a couple of weeks ago on the way to Suffolk - happened to be near Great Dunmow so pulled off the main road and hoped for a scenic location as it went over - the corn field was ideal ! Popped open a bottle of bubbly to celebrate as you can see in the picture.....or was it ?

Love that one ! I'll have to look out for my 1234567 anniversary !
Mind you the head gaskets just gone for a second time at 102,000 miles. Multi layer one this time as they weren't invented when the last one went !

I'm quite a ways off this yet. But it's nice to show that these cars can get there. Thanks all.

Re: The 100K Club
This is the 100,000th mile with me in the driving seat, not bad as it was ten years old when I bought it. But there is plenty more ahead of it too......

Re: The 100K Club
I'm impressed!
Due to a restricted mileage insurance policy I can only do 8000km (5000miles) each year. However... I have just seen 95,000miles clock up so by this time next year we should be there!

Re: The 100K Club
X67SOK joined the 100k Club today, on a run out in the early evening.
I was able to take her for a spin up Fish Hill on the Evesham to Oxford road, just outside Evesham. This was where Mr Morris used to take cars to test from his original workshop, if they could get up the hill thet were good !
A beautiful run but a little chilly, I may equip her with the 'air scarf' mod.
