Hi everyone
I have just bought a 2001 MGF 1.6. I have a missing button on the dashboard, it is situated next to the dashboard dimmer switch. Can anyone tell me what this switch is for.

Re: MISSING SWITCH
It's usually the electric door mirror adjustment switch, but I guess your car has manual adjusters?

Re: MISSING SWITCH
Thanks Nigel
Any idea why I would have a switch for electric mirrors but only have manually adjustable mirrors.

Re: MISSING SWITCH
Me thinks, you've got what you payed for
The 1.6 MGF was less equipped with extras then the higher grade models.

I took it that you had a blank where a switch would normally be, but sounds like you have a switch which does nothing? Have you a photo of the switch? ~ will help identify which one you mean.

Re: MISSING SWITCH
If you have manual mirrors you'll be missing a blanking plate that covers the hole where the electric mirror switch would be if you had electric mirrors.
