Forum rules
Not many rules really, this board being aimed at technical issues, it shouldn't fall foul (hopefully) of some of the more personal issues that can affect forums.
Rule 1 - Is that you need to think very carefully before posting anything technical or asking anything technical relating to the security system of the car - See 'Security Issues' sticky for more info.
Rule 2 - We (MGF Register) do not support copyright infringement and therefore references to CD ROM, PDF versions or paper copies of the workshop manual (for instance) should not be posted on the forum. We don't want to get into trouble and we'd rather sell you a genuine hard copy through our Regalia shop anyway!
Because advice is honestly and freely given in this technical section, much of it will be amateur experienced based, so any information is given in good faith and is not guaranteed as correct.

Re: squeeking rear end
Wheel bearings have been known to fail on the rear of the TF.
Bilstein shocks, Piper 4-2-1 manifold, Daytona, Vader cold-air induction, custom Z and F Stage 2 re-map, Electric boot release, braided hoses, Blue Magnecor leads, Technozen relays, Stage 1 head, BMW Angel Eyes headlights, "MG" puddle lights.
Re: squeeking rear end
it only squeaks when i hit bumps, wouldn't wheel bearings squeak all the time?

Re: squeeking rear end
You're right, it would.
If this were an MGF I'd be worried about the damper mounts, but those on the TF are more sturdy. Check the condition of the dampers - are they leaking and need replacing? Is there a problem with a seized suspension bolt?
Certainly worth closer inspection, and the opinion of a TF expert.

Re: squeeking rear end
Yes it would, but your initial words didn't specify.
As Rob says, get the suspension checked by someone who knows the basics, they're not particularly complex, quite straightforward actually.
Shock absorber bolts have also been known to fail, but these occasions are quite rare, but, as you have said you have the symptoms, please get it looked at just in case.
Getting acvice on here may be worthwhile but without looking at or hearing the car, it's very hard to guage an opinion.

Re: squeeking rear end
The upper rear suspension arms on the MGF have to be greased. I know it's different to the TF series as there's no hydragas on the TF but is the basic set-up the same?

Re: squeeking rear end
Check all the exhaust mountings, I would suggest.
