Hi
Has anyone fitted a rear brake light in the boot lid? Since getting my mgf and driving it around Birmingham i think i really need one. I've seen kits on the interweb and i've also downloaded a fitting guide. It looks somewhat easy but when i attement these sort of jobs something always goes wrong and i end up wishing i never started lol
Any advice would be gratefully welcome
Thanks.. Mark

Re: Fitting rear boot brake light
There is another fitting guide here on Rob's site.
If your car has ABS and power steering then it should have part of the wiring loom already fitted in the boot lid, so you can plug straight into it using the plug & play kit (Part No. XFG 100230).
If the , then you can either use the long wire kit (Part No. XFN 100180) which includes the additional wiring to reach the main loom, or route your own wiring as per above link.
Fitting of either it pretty straight forward so give it a go
