Forum rules
Not many rules really, this board being aimed at technical issues, it shouldn't fall foul (hopefully) of some of the more personal issues that can affect forums.

Rule 1 - Is that you need to think very carefully before posting anything technical or asking anything technical relating to the security system of the car - See 'Security Issues' sticky for more info.

Rule 2 - We (MGF Register) do not support copyright infringement and therefore references to CD ROM, PDF versions or paper copies of the workshop manual (for instance) should not be posted on the forum. We don't want to get into trouble and we'd rather sell you a genuine hard copy through our Regalia shop anyway! :)

Because advice is honestly and freely given in this technical section, much of it will be amateur experienced based, so any information is given in good faith and is not guaranteed as correct.

You wuss! ;)

Right, I've just had a chat with Bernie and have come up with 3 potential dates, all saturdays:

11th May
1st June
8th June

The latter is the weekend before Silverstone! Crumbs, yet again, the year is flying by!!! Let me know what your availabilities/preferences are. I guess a big decider will be Mark's availability - so I'll drop him an email too.

Lack of funds are currently stalling Project Shed's progress: I can't afford to insure and get new tyres for the old gal right now. Darn it. :( But I'll put my other F on the rollers as it has been a very long time since it was last "tested"! ;)

Out of those dates the only one I could make would be 1st June.

Hi Rob,

The 1st June will be the only one for me.

However, the schedule will be tight as we're dog sitting for some friends and they were not planning to get back to Jersey until Friday the 30th. I will get together with our friends to see if things can be reshuffled a bit, if Mark can make it, that is. If Mark can't make it, then I will pass as the remapping is more important to me.

If I don't get across for the 1st of June (if that's what you end up with) I can meet up with Mark when I'm over July 11th through 16th. We plan to go to the Festival of Speed on the Friday. We will have time Saturday, Sunday and Monday afternoon to do other things as my hospital check up is on the Monday morning at the Southampton General. Then it's back on the ferry Tuesday.

That's the plan!

1st of June is possible for me, but I will need to book time off work (I have to give 3 weeks advance notice for this ) so confirmation soon would be helpful if possible.

1st is looking like the overwhelmingly obvious candidate date!!! Mark Stacey has suggested that he can do the 8th. Argh.

The organising of this day is proving difficult as I don't have a huge amount of time at the moment - anyone able to help?

In the mean time, I'll see whether Mark can do the 1st...

I have now spoken to Bernie. Good news is:

MGF Register Rolling Road Day

Saturday 1st of June, 2013

Mark Stacey from Z&F Tuning for re-mapping of MEMS3 cars

Numbers limited to 10-12 cars

3 runs per car, at £35 per car
(re-mapped cars returning for a repeat power run will have to pay a little more: we're going to work this out and let you know)

I think the fairest way we can do this is to offer places on a first come, first serve basis, with deposits paid. I'm thinking a £15 deposit?
