Forum rules
Not many rules really, this board being aimed at technical issues, it shouldn't fall foul (hopefully) of some of the more personal issues that can affect forums.

Rule 1 - Is that you need to think very carefully before posting anything technical or asking anything technical relating to the security system of the car - See 'Security Issues' sticky for more info.

Rule 2 - We (MGF Register) do not support copyright infringement and therefore references to CD ROM, PDF versions or paper copies of the workshop manual (for instance) should not be posted on the forum. We don't want to get into trouble and we'd rather sell you a genuine hard copy through our Regalia shop anyway! :)

Because advice is honestly and freely given in this technical section, much of it will be amateur experienced based, so any information is given in good faith and is not guaranteed as correct.

You'll have to polish the throttle bodies too - are the bodies painted or un-coated alloy castings?

Tried the 240mm disc behind the wheel.. You couldn't even see the disc..

I'm going for a 'show' engine bay.. Lexion clear cover..15 LED spot lights..

As part of this I'm fitting all new silicone hoses.. (Roose kit) only the Roose kit isn't every hose..

So ordered these.. To go onto the rear of the heater matrix pipes.. The rubber elbows were connected via 'quick release' fittings.. Which I've scrapped..

The mounting plate has been blasted to bare metal.. Primed and sprayed.. The bolts (12.9 zinc plated) will get a smear of copper grease.. To make sure they don't seize in like normal..

Vacuum hoses are all new.. Silicone.. Oil breather to catch tank silicone.

No one does silicone fuel hoses.. So had to get creative.. And silicone wrap fuel lines..

Silicone wrapped engine loom too...

Silicone doesn't like petrol - although you can get fuel-resistant hose. Silicone wrapping is a better bet though.

It's going to be very red and silver under there!

Front wheels finally on..no hydrogas fluid in yet so car sat too low..

Rear wheel just placed there as the rear subframes not in yet..

The front and rear wheels look exact same size..
