I have a MKC104112 ECU which is working perfectly on the diagnostics software, however a customer has MKC104111 and it is not. If anyone one has one of these ECUs spare please could I borrow it for a few weeks?
thanks, Philip

Is this not a standard MEMS1.9 for the 1.8 MPi MGF Philip? In which case, it worked fine on both of my MGFs. I do have a spare if you need it though?

I don't think that they all had the same part number. I already have one off of a Lotus Elise but I think that it is a later variant.
If you have one with MKC104111 on then yes I would like to borrow it.

I shall double check the part number and will let you know Philip

The early F's apparently have several numbers. I replaced the MKC104020 in my '96 with an MKC104112 when it broke.

I have a feeling that all mine are also MKC104020 as well, but I shall check...

When would you like to borrow it Philip?

Nope, it is sat in my garage. It was from a donor car, which was an R registration as I recall. If I am 100% honest, I have no idea what versions of MEMS1.9 are fitted to either of the Fs - in fact I had no idea that there were so many variants (see
http://www.ecutechnologies.co.uk/ecus/1 ... =MKC104020)
I don't know why there are so many part numbers - presumably every time they changed the mapping, they issued the MEMS1.9 with a different part number?
