Best for what? Track? Fast road?

I just brought mine from the local euro car parts for £15 for the backs. Do the job well for everyday driving.

I replaced mine with Greenstuff pads, they seem to need warming up a little after not being used, but work very well and the wheels stay clean!

IIRC EuroCarParts sell Pagid as OE spec which is all I am running on my VVC, I've never felt they aren't enough.

Greenstuff are not much more than O/E, I have Yellowstuff on my ZS and have great confidence in them.

I tried various sets of brake pads on both my MGF as TF.

OEM is not that bad but certainly using 240 mm rotors they are not fit for a sportscar. They'll do fine for every day use but not driving 100 MPH on German motorways, witch is one of the things I do every now and then....

Used the early green stuff, not much better, but they say the new ones are much better, I cannot confirm.

Mintex 1144: a revelation compared to the two I mentioned earlier.

Now using OEM on the TF and yellow stuff at the F combined with 280 rotors front and back: they do the job well....
Changing the TF to 280's all around soon combined with OEM pads.

If you really need an improvement: just do not focus on the pads only, they are not the problem, it is the size of the rotors that results in just an average breaking performance. Sorry the news is no better.

And I don't use my cars on the track....

The way I'm enjoying my F I will soon be needing front brake pads.

The question is what to choose.

Quick_spider points out best for what - quite right.
I would say I'm crazy on the road, relying on the stability and stopping power of the mid-engined layout.
I need something better than average, but it's not a track day car.

Ideas guy? I don''t feel inclined to just wander into the local and get 'standard ones.

I am more impressed with the red stuff over the yellow stuff and less dust - Trophy.
