Hi peeps, had to get recovery out today as bottom arm snapped. Now it's on the drive how do you replace the wishbone? Unscrewing one of the bolts hits the body?
Really need your help on this one guys.
Thanks

Re: Replacing wishbones
Hi,
i think you'll have too release the sub frame mounts and drop it down to release the bolt, soak the mounting bolts really well over night and they should come out ok. If one's gone, the other may not be far behind, unless changed recently. Don't forget the pinch bolt on the steering u/j and abs cables etc.

Re: Replacing wishbones
Is taking the subframe out a hard job to do or is it just time consuming? Many thanks

Re: Replacing wishbones
You only need to lower the sub frame enough to get the bolt out, you should be able to do this by undoing the subframe bolts, steering u/j and top shock bolts if on an F, can be done in the driveway.
