On the way to work this morning the yellow Engine Warning light flashed repeatedly and then stayed on.
I'm N
new to MGTF's so not sure what to do.
Do I ignore it and see if it goes away or do I need it looked at? The light is the second one up on the left hand side of the dash.
Thanks in advance for any help / advice.

Could be a multitude of things you need to get someone with a code reader to take a look really
It can vary wildly as to what the light means so I wouldn't care to guess as to why - mine comes on occasionally due to my cat being broken to give you an example of one fault that will cause the light to come on

IT well go off by it's self but if it flashed there IS some thing wrong. Any garage will have a obd reader or you could get one off e bay [£30] This device plugs into a socket by your knee [ when you are in the car ] and tells you what is wrong.

Thanks for the advice. I know a mechanic who can plug into the car and see what's wrong. Will see if it goes off on the way home tonight.
