Hi all,
On holiday in Cumbria with the F, on the way up here stopped at services, went to leave refused to start on key. Bump started straight away, found that it's blowing the fuse. As I'm 300 miles from home with limited tools I've ordered a new starter which will in Whitehaven Monday am, as I'm guessing it has a direct short. Would a dodgy relay cause the fuse to blow?
Many thanks
Steve

Re: Starter blowing 10 amp fuse
Just a quick update,
Going through the posts on starting issues early hours of the morning and found one that Rob had put on a while back about Mrs Rob in the car and not starting. Advise was to give the relay a gentle tap, so I tried it, new fuse and away it went.
So it has cost the price of a 10 amp fuse and I'll claim the money back on the starter on Monday (Thanks Rob)
