I've recently replaced the hood and cantrail window seals. Now if I close the hood or wind the windows up, the glass jams on the cantrail seals. Opening the door is hard and also pulls the rear cantrail seal loose.
According to the manual and also instructions I located somewhere years ago, the window should seal on the top edge of the glass. After many hours last weekend, I have the passenger side glass as vertical as I can, so it seals on the A pillar and above the door, but it is still sitting on the outside of the rear seal (B pillar area) of the hood, but still jams tightly into the rubber. No matter of jigging around has helped.
Where exactly should the glass & rubber seal meet? I seem to be able to get 2/3 of the seals good, but not all. Would anyone have a photograph of how it is supposed to sit when correctly adjusted?
