Are there any suppliers left?

I made the mistake of using a cheap polybush kit from Ebay, and now the harsh ride is bothering me. I want to switch back to rubber bushes, but I'm struggling to find complete sets online. Are there any suppliers left, or do I need to hunt down individual rubber bushes?

It's a damn shame PolyBush don't do a blue set for the F. They are just right on my Sprite.

Have you tried Rimmer Bros?

First off, welcome to the forum!

Secondly, sorry to hear that the bushes are too hard Evan. Which sets of bushes are you looking for? The whole car set?

Yes, Rimmers is an X-Parts retailer, so OE bushes can be had from them. They won't be in a kit though: you'll have to order each bush individually.

I fitted autobushes and they are fine, the only problem I have is that I was a bit tight fisted and didn't replace the engine steady bushes, when I accelerate or break just moderately hard the exhaust downpipe hits the subframe. Apparently a well known problem with the Chinese stainless steel downpipes. I personally wouldn't go back to rubber bushes, the combination of the autobushes and the Bilstein kit transforms the handling. My wife says that she has never driven a car that inspires so much confidence on the road, the turn in on corners is exceptional.

Our TF now handles like the VX220 that my middle son bought before Xmas but with more comfort.

If you want the same "bounce" as the OE rubber bushes but in polyurethane look for shure 70.
A few years ago I found a poly bush supplier on eBay who could supply the harshness you required in a variety of colours, I got 70 in lime green to compliment my HFF VVC.
