As I understand it they don't add any bhp but do give lower down torque and sound a little more throaty, if this is true...

Are they a straightforward swap?

I'm close enough to pur chase one:)

Nice one! Think ill give it a go!

Though trying to keep the car standard, this might be worth doing on the road

I started out trying to keep the car standard, but I decided using oem stuff was still standard enough :)

I'm trying hard! Had nick at Austin garages change the dampers all round and track rod ends as the originals were perished but didn't go for bilsteins...standard all round jut like from factory!

I know it sounds mad but it looks good as standard and long term, I do really like standard cars that are kept in great condition

Hi,

I managed to make contact with the seller in fact he has called me back a number of times after talking with him he seems quite genuine albeit a little difficult to contact the long and short of it is I paid £37.00 including delivery using paypal risky I know but nothing ventured nothing gained he says he has over 30 of these available so IF and when I receive mine I will post he contact details including his email address so others may benefit.

Regards Gerry. :?

no problem, I'm happy you got one, I was starting to get a bit worried about posting it because so many people couldn't contact the seller.
