Frankienstien is dead all parts must go.

Post by chrisrigby » Fri Jan 16, 2015 8:31 am

Ladies and gents time has got the better of me and I've admitted defeat. My Mk1 F has to go so I'm looking to sell the bits I have and make some cash to pay for a new car I've found. I will add a picture later but its also the car in my profile.

The plan was to completely refurb it, I bought all the parts I needed to convert to MEMS3 with TF 160 ecu
...so looks like a nice mk1 but drives like a 160.

I will keep the entire smokestone interior and Abingdons wheels so the car I buy will have the wheels and interior removed and put up for sale. But as a start this is what I have.

Miltec quad tail stainless steel exhaust with brand new CAT asking £200 ono

The roof in good condition does not leak £60

6 spoke alloys TBC

Rear boot with free style spoiler £60

Doors £30 each

Front bumper £80

Rear bumper £80

Full interior that can be broken down for plastics and seats / door cards. TBC

I also have a full ECU set from a MG TF 160 to convert any model to MEMS 3 includes engine loom ignition pack cam sensor all the bits needed £200

More to follow.

Might be interested in the bumpers Chris. What other body panels are available?

BTW why being scrapped? Sill rot?

Bumpers are good.

Came to the point no one would come and weld the subframe mounts, the sills also needed done. Martin and tony have been telling me to give it up but thought if I could do the welding then it would be worth it. However for not too much money I can have a mk2 thats hopefully MEMS3 which was what I was after overall.

Every panel is good to go wings have some small rust spots and the bonnet has some dents from an accident in the garage. I do enjoy this forum but its a pain for adding pictures unlike FB group.

Superb! If you're able to advise a price when convenient for yourself that'd be great - thanks in advance.

I like the exhaust, if it's still available at the end of the month and I can get it past the "accountant " I might be interested.

Well I'm back last week of the month so I won't be able to post or get the bits ready for anyone to collect anyway so first come first serve. But I'm sure we can sort something out.
