Cheers

Not really, like everything in life the forum costs money to run, most of these costs are swallowed by the owners. When commercial operators come along advertising for free people take a dim view.

Commercial operations i.e. trading for profit are not permitted without supporting the Register as clarified at the head of section under the thread 'Official Trader Status'. Really don't see why a reply querying the original posters status should be regarded as a 'stupid reply'.

It's a stupid reply, much like the offer of taking my parts from me for nothing if they didn't sell!!
I don't post any parts on here and rarely visit the site , if you want to alienate people that's fine with me

It was not a stupid reply when the rules of the thread clearly state "If you are trading for profit please contact us to arrange an advertising deal and become an Official Trader".

Breaking '4 mgf vvc and non vvc models' cars seems to be more than a member having a few surplus spares to sell on. I will be keeping an eye on this thread and if either the posts continue like they have been or the sales do look like they are from a commercial seller it will be removed.

I've had contact with the thread starter before Re parts, seems to me to be a genuine individual who happens to often have access to various spares for various models. Unfortunately he didn't have the exhaust I wanted at the time but seems like a genuine fella to me

Hi,

Do any of these happen to be a Trophy 160 by any chance ?
I am looking for the "160" boot badge

Regards,

Mike, is it the one badge that says 160 on it, or separate letters?

i am after a decent drivers side carpet, one without holes or significant wear plus a drivers side original factory fit front mudflap with fittings. If you only want to sell the mudflaps as a pair then that would be ok if the price was right.
