Wedgewood SE 120 for sale
As title, had this since January 2010, 3 previous owners. Just testing the water with regards value as no idea what they are worth. It does need some TLC as showing its age. MOT'd until 10th March 2018. Maintained by myself, qualified engineer! Has the usual Wedgewood features, windstop, silver trim etc. Roof in decent condition, rear window could do with replacing, if I get a decent price I will include the black hardtop (re-lined), switch and relay in place.
In the last few years or so it has had:
x4 new tyres.
Both front lower arms replaced.
Front to rear stainless steel water pipes.
Replacement radiator.
Replacement gear linkage cables.
New exhaust and cat.
Rear shock absorbers.
Front and rear brake pads.
Caliper replaced.
Battery.
Headlights replaced.
Prior to us purchasing it, it had the head gasket done.
When we brought it home we got Russell to change the water pump and cambelt.
Over the years it has been serviced, new plugs etc.
Suspension pump up.
Faults:
Wheels need a refurb.
Few marks here and there, parking dents.
Boot showing lacquer lifting and light rust.
Gearchange needs adjusting, cables were a pita!
Belt squealing on start up.
Temp gauge erratic at times. Have a replacement sensor to fit.
Central locking not working, have a drivers door unit to replace but not changed it as found the last faulty one sent a pita to fit!
When we bought it, it had around 57k on it, in 7 years we have only added around 3300 per year on average, mostly driven by the wife so in effect a postcode driven MG!
If there is interest in this I will glady get some photos once it has been cleaned, weather has not been kind lately!
As for the price I was looking at around £650. Car is based in Waterlooville, Hants. Any questions just ask.
Only selling as we are needing a bigger second car, 1st grandchild due. I still have my ZS180 of 13 years plus a MK2 T16 version, so still very much into MGs! No doubt I have missed something!

' ...in effect a postcode driven MG', that's a car sale statement I haven't come across before. Good luck with the sale.

Well my advert doesn't do this F justice! I have given it a good clean and it is much better than I thought.

Re: Wedgewood SE 120 for sale
I also have a Wedgwood 120, which I purchased from an acquaintance in January this year. It was in a similar condition and was fitted with the hardtop, But with 10,000 less miles; I paid £950 for it.
If you were to clean and re-proof the hood, AutoGlym do an excellent kit for this, and clean the rear window with something like Renovo, you should be able to ask at least £1000 - £1200 for it.
