Re: Wanted - MGF headlights.
TC,
I have a pair of lights that you are welcome to have - however there is no off-side glass, and the near-side glass has what appears to be an air bubble or similar towards the bottom of the glass (internal I think).
I took them off my car a few years ago as I'd had a couple of MOT advisories for the silvering fading, so changed for resilvered ones.
The air bubble never bothered me but I just took the opportunity to change when I swapped the lights. Worked fine and No issues with MOT.
From memory, the majority (but not all) of the clips are present as I needed a couple for the refit.
Just shout if you want them.

Re: Wanted - MGF headlights.
James,
All now boxed up and ready to go.
Re price, In the spirit of the various mg forums we are on, how does parts FOC so just the price of postage sound?
Quick check on parcel to go without knowing your postcode suggests around £5 plus approx £1 if you want insuring to £20. Or presumably a bit more if you want a higher insurance value. However, not checked if car parts or glass are covered?
Possibility that I can post Monday if you need in a hurry, otherwise might be a few days before I can post.
PayPal ok?
Let me know if above works for you and I'll get sorted.

James,
It has been a few years since I sent a pm - and for reasons I can't work out I can't see how to get it to accept your name.
If you send me a pm with your address etc then hopefully I can reply to that.

OK, which courier was it? Does it say who signed for it?

Re: Wanted - MGF headlights.
James,
No other info on the email about the drop off other than extract sent yesterday.
I've just PM'd you with an extract of the rest of the order/tracking info - including the address that we'd agreed to send to.
As planned, it was sent via Parcel2Go (although my drop-off receipt says myHermes). Suggest you ask around re who may have seen the parcel or lobbed onto the top of a cupboard (happened to me a few times).
I can contact P2G if no joy - however if they have a record of it being delivered to the agreed location then unraveling may be tricky - happy to try though.
One question that may help though... did you receive a text from them to say it had arrived? As you opted not to add on insurance, I'm sure I paid 20p or so on top of what we agreed for a delivery text. I think (but not 100%) that was to go to your mobile not mine - however I certainly didn't receive one.
Hope above helps. Let me know how you get on.
Chris
ps: I now understand why people prefer collection only!

Re: Wanted - MGF headlights.
I wasn't in the depot on Monday so someone probably signed for it and put it to one side and forgot to tell me it was there.
As I wasn't sure what service you had used I didn't chase for it.
I didn't get a text, I would have chased it then.
Knowing it should be there I will have a look on Monday.

Re: Wanted - MGF headlights.
Most welcome James.
Thanks for confirming safe receipt - never had an issue with Parcel 2 Go before, but at least they made it.
You are very welcome to the lights - I've had a couple of freebies myself from Malcbox (the headlights that I refurbed to swap with mine) and someone who's user name claimed to be a Fat Balding Old Git but in reality was a lovely gent too. Happy to pass on some of that MG love.
